 Egypt's profits for the chemical industry grow 20% within 7 months

The Board of Directors of Misr Chemical Industries announced that the company's profits during the first 7 months of the current fiscal year increased by 20.4 percent on an annual basis. The company stated in a statement to the Egyptian Stock Exchange today, Sunday, that it recorded a net profit of 111.9 million pounds from the beginning of July until the end of last January, compared to 92.87 million pounds in profits during the same period last fiscal year. It is noteworthy that Egypt for the chemical industry recorded a net profit of 96.48 million pounds from the beginning of July until the end of last December, compared to 82.26 million pounds during the same period of the previous fiscal year. The company attributed the increase in the company's profits during the period to the increase in production quantities to the increase in demand for the company's products, and the increase in selling prices compared to the same period.
