Within the the policy of the Ministry of Public Enterprise Sector and the Holding Company for Chemical Industries, Misr Chemical Industries Company continues to modernize and develop all its production units to keep pace with the requirements of the local and global market of caustic soda and its derivatives, chlorine gas and its derivatives.     Mr. Major General A.H. / Mahmoud Abdel Rahman Ashmawy (Managing Director and CEO of the company), and in the presence of both: Mr. Dr. Hossam Ezz El Din (Director General of the Pollution Control Program at the Ministry of Environment) and Mr. Anders Beckers (Executive Director of ThyssenKrupp Egypt); On Monday 12/12/2022, by giving the start signal for the construction of a new evaporator's unit at a total cost of (130 million pounds) to concentrate caustic soda from 33% to 50%, in order to increase and raise production and operational efficiency by not less than 206 tons of caustic soda, 100% concentration. Equivalent to 412 tons of caustic soda, 50% concentration.
